The greatest thing about Crocs is the fact that they come in such a large array of colors and sizes. Whatever your personal style or what you wear there is a Croc shoes out there for you.

Although there are so many colors, it can end up being more of a chore trying to find the right color for you. Here is a great list of the greatest colors for the summer time season.

If you are a woman, Berry can accentuate any piece of clothing. This shade of fuchsia screams summer passion and romance. Berry is the best color for younger females who are very fashion conscience, and can go with a variety of pants, though it looks great with shorts and skirts.

Be sure when using this color that you keep your shirt simple; a solid shade of white with a cute necklace is usually very flattering and pairs exceptionally well with the shoe.

If you are looking for something a little different this summer, check out the light blue Crocs. It’s a great pastel color that reminds you of a warm April day. It goes best with dark color jeans or light khaki pants. But it also blend with many different color tops as well.

Once the summer really starts to kick in, you can get into a Ruby Red color. This is a great color for outdoor picnics and any outdoor activities. This dark rich color is great for the Fourth of July since it’s such a bright red color.

Men who find themselves frequently at the pool or beach should consider ordering their Croc shoes in the Orange (or, Coral) color. This warm shade is simple and fun, and goes great with many swimsuits and simple t-shirts. Croc shoes in general are perfect for the beach because of their durable soles and enhanced breathability, and the Orange shade is really the cherry on top.

I you are a boater or a member of a yacht club then the Khaki Croc shoe, or Canvas Patone, will be perfect for you. They are great because they look very sophisticated and go great with polos or collared shirts.

If you are looking for something colorful and not too much and outstanding then you may want to consider the Navy Crocs. These dark blue shoes add depth to a bunch of different outfits that you may wear.

You are sure to be pleased with your Croc shoes no matter what color you end up deciding on. However, be sure to take into account your current wardrobe and style tastes as well as your lifestyle before making a final selection.

Football, From Then Till Now

There is no doubt that football is widely known, at least to most parts of the world. It may not be so familiar to some nationalities, but at least they have an idea on what a football ball looks like and can identify a football player, if he wears his proper gear and uniform.

But to the rest of the world where football has been a part of almost everyone’s life, specifically to the Americans, football- including its origins, its different forms, how it is being played, and even the intensity attached to it, these are all common to them.

Football is indeed a competitive and physical game. And anyone who wishes to play football must have the height and body, the agility and the stamina to be able to stay in the game.

Injuries are unavoidable; and it is very common to many sports like basketball, hockey, etc.; and it is even more common and expected whenever the game of football is being played. As the game includes not just passing and running, but as well as hitting, clashing, and stumbling upon each other.

But not only were the football players of this new generation are experiencing those kinds of incidents. Because way back the 1800s, injuries, may it be minor or major ones, have been already a part of the football’s humble beginnings.

Being played in different colleges in selected parts of America, frequent incidents of injuries have been reported. Most students from different schools, those who were particularly playing college football, had been suffering from serious injuries, a result on how vicious the sport was being played.

As the game became one of the intercollegiate sports, the incident even more increased, which is later on reported to President Roosevelt. The president, on the other hand, threatened to shut down the game if adjustments will not be made in order to lessen those accidents reported.

And so, meetings among schools are organized, and as a result of the continuous move, the NCAA or the National Collegiate Athletic Association, was formed. The association aimed to revolutionize the rules of the game so as to avoid those injuries and fatalities reported.

Years have passed until professional football was introduced during the late 19th century. Through the NFL (National Football League), football has become a profession and career to many chaps in the United States.

Up to this very moment, football has been even more renowned and recognized as one of the most popular sports in the world, and is continuously creating its own special spot in the history of sports.

Betts

by Denise I Smithson

The New York Rangers acquired Blair Betts in the 2005-06 NHL Hockey season and he has been with them, centering on the defensive 4th line. He is one of the New York Rangers most consistent face-off men winning a more than losing them.

The New York Post wrote that Blair Betts and his teammate, Sjostrom, could be the best penalty kill tandem in Rangers history and they had a franchise high of 87.6 percent. He has also been declared one of the most underrated players in the league.

Having played for the Calgary Flames since 1998, before joining the New York Rangers, this Canadian born ice hockey player weighs 210 pounds at 6 feet 3 inches. His pro career started in 2001 and he has been a consistent defensive center.

The New York Rangers, however, have not done so well. They are going through their highest losing streak, so it may be hard to determine where some of the praise for Blair Betts is translating into winning games for the team.

Blair Betts has been also plagued with injuries, suffering a broken orbital bone around his left eye in May, 2008, and recovering from an upper body injury in December, 2008. Prior to that injury, he had three goals and five points in 28 games this past season. In his fourth season with the New York Rangers, he has missed time with injuries to his knee, foot and face.

Of course, ice hockey in the NHL can be a rough and tumble game and many defensive players can get injured from rough play or fights on the rink. Blair Betts, at 28 years old, has been playing professionally since 2000, when he joined the AHL, Calgary Flames.

He actually began his career in 1996 playing for the Prince George Cougars in the Western Hockey League, before being drafted by the Flames in the 1998 NHL draft. Some may wonder if it is taking a toll on his health and ability to be a consistent player.

In the 2005-06 NHL hockey season, he scored eight goals and two assists with the New York Rangers. Since that time, he has been used primarily on special teams and has done well in penalty killing and winning face-offs.

In his over 300 games played since the 2001-02 season, Blair Betts has scored 27 goals and 18 assists, with the majority of those being since he joined the New York Rangers. The Rangers are suffering as a team this season with their record, and his time out with injuries could be part of the reason, although it seems that the offense of the Rangers could be the primary reason, having difficulty scoring points all year.

Experts blame the Rangers last place position on a lack of confidence and a failure of the players to gel as a team. Whether Blair Betts can do much to help bring the Rangers out of the slump remains to be seen. Other players, and Rangers General Manager, Sather could shoulder much of the blame. Blair Betts has a lot of work cut out for him with this team, and could probably do better on one that would do him justice.

Black Seal Xtreme Dive Watch

by Aaron Normski

The Seiko Kinetic Scubamaster is not the most expensive watch I own, but it is probably the rarest and most unique. In fact, I think it comes pretty close to being the ultimate diver watch. It is feature rich, extremely tough, very accurate, and has a bold, distinguished look. Here’s a feature-by-feature breakdown:

MTM’s secret is the silicon oil filled case which is designed to equalize the pressure exerted on the watch in a way which makes it virtually compression-proof. There are a few other watches out there which make the same claim, but none with quite the unique feature set of the MTM Black Seal.

First up is the TechnoMarine Abyss. This avant-garde brand throws down an interesting looking watch that is ready to dive. The Abyss is a 42.5mm quartz-powered stainless steel dive watch which, at $650, represents the cheapest of the extreme divers. Although suspiciously light on details, TechnoMarine claims the Abyss can withstand 12,000 meters of water, or about 39,600 feet, which is about as deep as deep gets.

24-hour hand. The Scubamaster has four hands: hour, minute, second, and a 24-hour hand. The watch is designed to be able to easily track the time in two different time zones, and to be able to switch time zones quickly and easily. When in you home time zone, you keep the hour hand and the 24-hour hand in sync. When you travel outside your home time zone, the movement is designed in such a way that you can easily adjust the hour hand forward or backward, depending on whether you are traveling east or west. That way, the hour hand indicates the time where you currently are while the 24-hour hand retains your home time.

Bell & Ross has a beauty of a diver called the Hydromax which they claim (and back up with details) will withstand a depth of 11,100 meters, or about 36,500 feet. While not the most extreme of the extreme divers, that still makes it capable of reaching the bottom of Challenger Trench, one of the deepest known points in the ocean. There is, as you might expect, some impressive engineering going on in this timepiece.

I’ve heard that one of the problems with Kinetic watches is that their capacitors tend to degrade over time which results in smaller power reserves. I haven’t found that to be the case at all with this watch. It’s only supposed to hold a charge for 14 days, however even after seven years (yes, the watch is that old), it seems to stay sufficiently charged for about three weeks. The movement is also accurate to between 1 and 3 seconds per month.

Power reserve indicator. The button on the right side of the case above the crown activates a power reserve indicator (which can actually be activated underwater). The watch’s second hand moves ahead to indicate how long the watch will remain operational, then stops there and waits for time to catch up before moving again. As long as I remember to wear the watch a day or two every couple of weeks, power is never an issue.

Double locking clasp. The clasp on the Scubamaster is very robust. It uses a spring loaded, dual button locking mechanism in addition to a fold-down clasp lock. This is probably the strongest and best engineered clasp I’ve ever seen on a watch.

Carp Bait Making Made Simple For Economical Big Fish Captures!

Posted By Tim Richardson on @ 5:38 am
by Tim Richardson

These days saving money on fishing is very important and anything you can do to get better results for less money is worth doing and making your own unique homemade fishing baits is a fantastic example and need take very minimal time! There are a few basics to know about making baits and once you have these you can go ahead and make very unique and successful baits economically for the rest of your life. Making your own baits will save you’re a shocking amount of money and not just in the long-term; so imagine what else you could be spending your hard-earned money on instead!

For the more technically minded fisherman, carp do not get their energy needs from carbohydrates but mostly protein and also fats and oils in their natural diet. Being aquatic they are extremely well adapted to extract far more energy from protein foods than humans on land. The very basic protein requirements of carp are extremely significant in terms of making effective baits because these are composed of basic building blocks called amino acids, some of which carp essentially need to consume in order to survive.

Proteins are composed of amino acids which carp can easily detect and find stimulating; and there are around 10 plus essential ones which carp cannot synthesise in there own body and must consume in their food to survive. The carp essential amino acids list includes: Histidine, leucine, isoleucine, valine, tryptophan, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine and arginine and carp will eat foods and baits containing any of these as they are essential to them. Exploiting protein ingredients in your baits is obviously a good thing as you are offering something fish need to survive.

It may be no surprise that both humans and carp have evolved in part due to the energy providing foods available for us to exploit in our environments. We can exploit how these foods are detected by smell and taste for example, by boosting the levels of the most highly stimulating substances within our baits. These may consist of natural food sources of soluble amino acids, flavors or even using specialist hormone preparations etc, but there are thousands to choose from!

In fish experiments the essential amino acid requirement of very few fish has been established, but those of carp are known and can be exploited in our baits to good effect. But you do not need to know how to create a balanced profile or high protein bait to catch fish. It does help to use protein foods like hens eggs, fish meals, caseins etc which are high protein sources, because they provide many essential amino acids and are extremely well proven bait ingredients.

But protein based baits are not strictly necessary to get bites of course and a multitude of baits including those based on carbohydrates like wheat flour or corn flour will still catch very well indeed providing they are altered to keep them in effect new and different to previous baits. Many of the most economical bait recipes based on carbohydrate ingredients have consistently caught big fish for decades despite arguments raging over quality food versus crap baits and other theories. If you keep changing your attractors even just by using alternative proprietary flavor dips you can always keep ahead of your fish on any particular fishery; just remember to exploit what stimulates fish naturally and avoid over-dosing with solvent based flavours unless you are fishing single bait style.

Often artificially stocked fisheries contain fish which now treat anglers baits as natural food and these fish literally live on them as opposed to just natural food which may or may not be readily available. Homemade baits will catch on the easiest overstocked or richest or under-stocked waters; what do think the early bait pioneers used? Why keep buying readymade bait for 10 pounds when you can produce your own unique baits for a fraction of the cost and very little time or effort when I’ve found over the last 30 years that you can catch against any readymade bait using homemade baits no matter what they are based on!

Many carp fishermen get confused between the nutritional aspect of bait as opposed to the stimulatory aspect and assume that a bait absolutely needs to be totally nutritionally attractive and stimulating as a complete food in order to do the job, but this is just not true. Many perceived simple ingredients may have very surprising nutritional attraction in any key aspect whether it be vitamins, or minerals, oils or some other aspect like simulating something which carp naturally eat confidently (many flavours do this but have zero nutritional value.) It is a fact however, that amino acids rank among the most highly feeding stimulatory substances for carp and so exploiting this aspect in your baits is advantageous, but then you have endless other possibilities and combinations to choose from, to save you money and hook you those dream fish; all you need is to know a bit more about bait!

What is There to Know About Diving Tanks?

Posted By Ed J Price on @ 5:03 am
by Ed J Price

The diving tank, originally known as the cylindrical pressure vessel, is one of the most important components of your diving equipment. The main purpose of this diving tank is to store and transport high pressure breathing gas to the diver. The reason the diver stays alive and keeps breathing while underwater is because of this piece of diving equipment. Gas is provided through the part of the diving regulator called the demand valve which the diver puts in their mouth. The most commonly used dive tanks are those which measure up to 80cu. ft. and they are usually worn by average adults whereas other smaller sized scuba tanks are used by teens and petite women depending on their lung size, fitness, and other health factors.

Different Types of Tanks

Aluminum tanks and Steel tanks are the two most common diving tanks. Other than the fact that they are made out of different metals, there is not much difference between the two. Aluminum dive tanks are considered to be the most common in the world. When compared to steel dive tanks, they are more cost efficient and this is why they can be found at almost any scuba rental shop or dive resort. They are easy to carry around as aluminum metal is considerably lighter in weight than steel tanks.

Unlike its aluminum counterparts, steel tanks have way better buoyancy characteristics and they do not float at the end of the dive either. They come in different shapes and sizes and since they are already naturally heavy you do not have spend time counter-weighting them as you would with aluminum tanks. It is proven that a properly maintained steel tank lasts for decades.

General Pros About Scuba Tanks

Scuba tanks last up to years if well maintained having you save money for the other scuba equipment which you need to purchase or replace. Both types of scuba tanks can last up to ten years and over, regardless of whether it is steel or aluminum.

Determining which tanks suits you best is very easy. It all depends on what type of dive you are doing and how much your body can take. Dive tanks come in different sizes with varying volume capacities and pressure designed for people with different breathing capabilities.

Cons

Scuba tanks are made out of metal and when metals are in the presence of sea water then rust is most likely to be formed. In order to prevent rust, a lot cleaning needs to be done to your tank and that could take up time and energy because it needs to be done frequently.

Another thing to keep in mind is that the tank itself is quite heavy which, and also due to its sizing, makes it difficult to travel with. So unless you arent doing many local dives then it is best for you to just rent them.

To Conclude

Every scuba diver needs a scuba tank in any dive that involves staying underwater for a long period of time. If you are a frequent diver then it would be cheaper for you to actually own a diving tank rather than renting one several times. Proper maintenance is all that is required to keep your tank lasting for years and years. It is easy to pick out which scuba diving tank will suit you and your bodily limits. The cost is very reasonable as the life periods for dive tanks are very lengthy. There are many deals you can find online for discounts on tanks.

Development of The Official Soccer Ball

Posted By Gabriel Barkeley on @ 4:43 am
by Gabriel Barkeley

Take the time to read the following article, surely you will benefit from the research that been conducted in order for it to be written.

In the popular game of soccer or football, the most important piece of equipment is obviously the ball. Before the modern invention of the official soccer ball, you should know that in the beginnings of the sport the ‘ball’ used was either a human head, a human or animal skull, an animal bladder, stitched up cloth, or an animal-skin ball. In medieval times, stories tell about animal bladders mostly, which, progressively started being covered with leather to maintain the shape better and for a longer time. It was only with Charles Goodyear who, in 1836 patented vulcanized rubber and in 1855 designed and created the first vulcanized rubber balls, that we can say we are getting closer to the shape of the official soccer ball of the modern times. Then, inflatable bladders started being produced in 1862, after H.J. Lindon invented them.

When talking of the official soccer ball, you have to think of the soccer ball from the temporal perspective. There have been more than just one official soccer ball models used, at least in the 20th century and up to the present. Only a few manufacturing companies have been granted the distinction of producing such items. Thus we will have in mind firms like Adidas, Nike, Brine or Puma that design soccer balls following the regulations and laws established by the international football organisms and associations (FIFA).

A first official soccer ball worth mentioning was Telstar, used in Mexico in 1970. Adidas started to produce soccer balls in 1963; they created the first official FIFA World Cup ball in 1970. It was the first ball that had 32 black and white panels and it was more easily noticeable on black and white televisions. Two Adidas soccer balls were afterwards launched in Germany, in 1974. Telstar appeared again but this time the gold branding was replaced by a black one. Then Adidas introduced a new all-black version of the official soccer ball called Adidas Chile, after an all-white ball previously tested in Chile in 1962. Both the techniques and materials used in Telstar and Chile were the same as those used in the making of the balls in 1970.

To count some more of the balls that have won the official soccer ball status there are: Tango Durlast 1978 characterized by dynamism and elegance, Tango Espana, 1982 made real leather, Azteca, Mexico 1986, a premiere of polyurethane rain resistant coated ball, Etrvsco Unico, Italy, or in 1990 the first ball based on an internal polyurethane foam layer.

I hope the information above was useful. Thanks for reading.

Xbox 360 Rapid Fire Modded Controllers

Posted By Joe Greene on @ 4:37 am
by Joe Greene

The rapid fire modded controller for your Xbox 360 video game system will give you an advantage over your opponents. It turns any single fire weapon in your arsenal into an automatic weapon. This controller mod will work with Call of Duty, Unreal Tournament, Halo, Ghost Recon, Gears of War and just about with any game that has weapons you need to shoot faster.

It is against the policy of Xbox Live to use modded controllers, so keep that in mind when you own a rapid fire controller. The controllers are not supposed to be detectable but follow the rules in the spirit of fair play. Both a wired or wireless controller can have the rapid fire mod.

Many color options are available for Xbox controllers. The most common colors are gray and black but there are also red, pink, white and blue ones as well as other colors that are custom painted. LED lights are on many controllers.

Three or more speeds for firing are on these modded controllers. One will be a fire burst of bullets. The other modes will be varying degrees of speed for the rapid fire option. Some controllers will have five speeds.

A mod that is controlled by the sync button is called a sleeper or stealth rapid fire controller. No extra buttons are used so they do not look different than a regular controller. This variation is very popular.

If you know how to use a soldering gun, you could install a mod to your controller. Kits for this can be purchased online. If you don’t feel capable of doing this it is possible to pay somebody else to install the rapid fire mod for you.

A controller that you already own and use can be modded for rapid fire. Unless you can do it yourself or know someone locally who can mod it for you, it will need to be mailed to be fixed for rapid fire. Of course, you will want to have more than one controller so you have something to use while the other controller is being modded.

A controller with a rapid fire mod will only be able to fire weapons as fast as the game you are using it for will allow. It will give you a step up over the other people you are playing against. With skill and a rapid fire mod you should be able to rule the game.

Checking the Quality and Material of your Wetsuit

Posted By Paul Garnett on @ 4:30 am
by Paul Garnett

Just like in any other sport, there is always that desire to have the best sports equipment or accessory. It may be for so many reasons. You may want to show off your best quality wetsuit, or you just want to have the most comfortable wetsuit that can make you do very good in your performance.

Especially if you are choosing a wetsuit for a water sport that require maximum flexibility or if you will be using it for competition like triathlon or swimming, you may want to check its quality and material before deciding to purchase it.

Flexibility, comfort and warmth are among the most important things to check when choosing a wetsuit. You may also include style and of course the cost of the suit, as wetsuits tend to cost higher as its features became more advanced. Below is a basic guide for you in checking the quality of your wetsuit.

Wetsuits are mainly made of a flexible rubber called neoprene, and the material is still classified further in terms of how flexible it is. The different models and brands of wetsuits use these different classes of neoprene, which explains the differences in their qualities and comfort.

The most flexible of all neoprene types is the super stretch neoprene. When it comes to super stretch neoprene, the flexibility of your wetsuit is determined by the percentage of super stretch neoprene it has. A wetsuit could have 30% to a 100% super stretch neoprene.

The more super stretch material your wetsuit has, the more flexible it is. Some wetsuits however have different combination of neoprene and even other materials. Your choice would largely depend though your water sport, your skill level and of course, your budget.

You may want to get yourself a little less expensive wetsuit but are also good for your chosen sport, you can settle with wetsuits having 30% or even 10% super stretch neoprene. The super stretch panels are usually placed on portions of the body that require more flexibility like the arms, shoulders and knees.

You can also choose to have those with higher percentage, which could be 60% or 100% super stretch wetsuit that allow much greater flexibility in more parts of the body. This however would largely depend in your budget.

Wetsuit manufacturers have even incorporated other materials to add more flexibility and comfort to wetsuits. It is not uncommon to see wetsuits having lycra, spandex or Merino wool in them for added comfort and flexibility.
