What better way to get yourself up and about in the early morning than with a warm, sweet mug of coffee. Nothing can truly replace the taste and feeling a good cup of coffee can give you that enables you to forget that you’re still tired and don’t feel like getting up.

Coffee is easy to make and can be done in a few different ways. All you need is a mug, some boiling water, a tin of coffee, milk and sugar. The sequence of how you mix them all together doesn’t really matter as long as you stir them up real good and make sure the contents are settled.

One of the biggest appeals of choosing coffee as a warm drink is that it is also quick to make. With tea, for example, you always have to worry about letting it draw or where you can dispose of the teabags. With coffee, just add the contents, stir and enjoy.

Coffee is also more versatile than tea or other warm drinks in many ways. Do you know of anybody who drinks a cup of tea in the morning? Sure, sometimes it’s just a personal preference but just look around the next time you’re in a coffee shop one evening and you’ll see that coffee is certainly the popular choice to go with dessert.

You can do more with a tin of coffee than you can with other drinks. It combines well with many other things to make something so simple stretch even further. Mocha coffee is a very popular drink and all it’s just coffee and hot chocolate in a mug. Espresso is another popular drink. Just add liqueur to your coffee if you prefer something a little stronger.

That’s not all either. Besides all the different types of lattes that can be made with coffee, you can also enjoy the taste of coffee on ice. Blend together coffee and ice and get iced coffee, a great tasting drink that gives you something different to normal smoothies. Add ice cream and you get a coffee shake, which is a favorite with many people.

Sometimes those snacks you love are just not the same without coffee on the side. Toast with peanut butter or jelly just tastes so much better when complimented with a warm cup of coffee, while biscuits or cake just have to be enjoyed with coffee. You can even dip your biscuits to add a coffee taste to the flavour. Delicious!

True coffee connoisseurs won’t be satisfied until they get their fix of real filter coffee. This is not your ordinary coffee in a tin, but imported coffee beans roasted to perfection in a pot or kettle. The aroma is unmistakable and the taste even better. Brewed coffee is probably the best tasting drink you can make in your own home.
