While living in a new country, I decided that I would like to start a business, but I had no idea of where I should begin. I decided that I would need some help.

So, I looked online for "UK company formation" and phoned the first site that I found.  I talked to them for a bit, and made an appointment to visit them.

At the meeting, I learned that they were a company formation agent, and helped entrepreneurs like me get their business setup properly.  It took about an hour for them to explain everything that had to be done so that I could have a company in the UK.

All I have to do now before I start filling out the papers is to come up with some sort of name for my business.  I do have a couple of ideas, but I think I will bounce them off of my friends to see which one they think sounds best.  From there, I will be on the road to owning my own company - how exciting is that?
