With all the hype and great reviews about iPods, there are very few people that don’t have one. Up until recently I didn’t have one either, but unfortunately my portable CD player broke (no laughing please). So, I went to the store to buy one, only to find they were not available anymore.
Not available? I was shocked. You see, I bought my current one back in 1996 and it had served me well. Sure it was a little bulky, but you got used to that. I had to ask the sales person what I should buy - I needed to have something to listen to on my daily run on the treadmill.
He suggested that I could get a "Shuffle" and get some iPod Shuffle accessories to enhance my experience. I had to ask him what a "Shuffle" was - I had no idea.
He explained to me that it was an iPod - basically a portable music device. All I had to do is an iPod to PC transfer, and I could put any song I wanted to on there. That sounded good to me, so I bought one and some speakers for iPod, and was on my way.
I used the getting started guide provided by the sales clerk to get started, and it is really easy. I should have gotten rid of my CD player earlier - this is much better.
