I remember when ginsu knives came out. It was 1978 and I was in junior high. I thought the ginsu knives were great on how they would cut, slice and dice certain items. I thought I was also a great item because the demonstrator used one of the knives to cut through a tin can and than used the same knife on a tomato. The knife was not evened sharpened after using in on the can. Straight through the tomato it went.

I still think that the ginsu knives is a great item to have in ones kitchen. The price for the knives are reasonable and it includes a blade block to hold the knives in.
